Report on June 2008 long weekend
In June 2008 the town celebrated Coleambally's 40th birthday. Click here for the town's history.
The weekend activities kicked off on Saturday with a street parade. Most local businesses entered a float in the parade, and a very colourful group they were!
The wine-glass water tower (unique to Coleambally) was decorated by volunteers who assembled thousands tiles to form a mosaic on the base of the tower. This work was completed just in time for the birthday celebrations. Well done to all who helped.
Visitors from far and wide enjoyed a full-filled weekend. It was nice to see some old friends again, and to welcome some new friends!
Coleambally is a great place to visit at anytime. Drop in.. you are assured of a warm welcome!

Coleambally Country Music Festival
Several country music fans in Coleambally are trying to arrange our very first musical festival.
